At Restaurang Räkan, Christmas dinner is a more intimate and maritime affair – always made with the freshest of ingredients. For us, Christmas is a golden opportunity to celebrate the best of what the Swedish West Coast has to offer. That’s why the emphasis is on freshly cooked shellfish. Welcome Glögg (Mulled Wine)

Your evening begins with the traditional juletide welcome drink,
with or without alcohol.


First platter

The first platter combines traditional favourites such as smoked or cold-smoked salmon, hard-boiled eggs with vendace roe, Christmas ham and Jansson’s temptation.


Second platter

There are two options for your second platter:

The first is 100g of shrimp, two crayfish, two oysters, some mussels and a king crab leg.

The second includes a half lobster as well.


Homemade bread, butter, Västerbotten cheese, mayonnaise and aioli are always included, as well as an excellent range of pickled herring served at our bar or at your table. With a different schnapps to go with every kind of pickled herring too.

Dessert

For those who like to follow their main course with something sweet, we offer Crème Brûlée as an optional extra.
